SunExpress plans to add two routes between Turkey and Kazakhstan in 2027, launching Antalya–Almaty on 22 March and Izmir–Astana on 1 May. Both services are scheduled to operate twice weekly. The expansion will provide direct links from Antalya to Kazakhstan’s largest city and from Izmir to its capital, adding two city pairs to the airline’s Kazakhstan network.
Antalya–Almaty flights are planned for Mondays and Thursdays. The Izmir–Astana service is scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays. The launch dates and frequencies are planned schedules; no aircraft type, flight times or booking details were provided.
The new routes add to SunExpress’s existing Kazakhstan operations. The airline already serves Almaty from Izmir, with that service reported as having started in July 2026. The 2027 expansion therefore adds Antalya–Almaty and Izmir–Astana, rather than marking the carrier’s first entry into the Kazakhstan market.
