Voyager Technologies Secures $298M NASA Lunar Lander Contract Post-Astrobotic Acquisition

Voyager Technologies (NYSE:VOYG) now holds a $298 million NASA contract for two lunar lander missions following its completed acquisition of Astrobotic Technology. The task order, originally awarded to Astrobotic on 30 June 2026 under the Commercial Lunar Payload Services CS-8 procurement, transfers directly to Voyager as the new owner. The missions target lunar surface delivery in late 2028, supporting Artemis program objectives for a permanent human outpost. This award validates Voyager’s strategy to become a full-stack lunar infrastructure provider, controlling end-to-end capabilities from propulsion to surface power via Astrobotic’s Peregrine and Griffin landers. Astrobotic’s cumulative federal funding now exceeds $900 million since inception, with the CLPS CS-8 pool totaling approximately $590 million shared among three vendors.
