FlyOne Asia has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo, expanding the Uzbekistan carrier’s narrowbody fleet with a newer-generation jet powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G Geared Turbofan engines. The aircraft, msn 12330 and registered UK32127, previously flew for Spirit Airlines and reached the airline through a lease from Jackson Square Aviation.
The addition makes FlyOne Asia the first airline in Uzbekistan to operate aircraft equipped with GTF engines. The A321neo brings lower fuel burn and longer range than older Airbus narrowbodies, giving the carrier more flexibility on regional and medium-haul routes.
Fleet growth appears to be continuing beyond the first delivery. Another A321neo for FlyOne Asia had already been seen undergoing repainting, indicating the airline is building out its Airbus narrowbody operation rather than relying on a single aircraft addition. The move fits broader fleet renewal trends across Central Asia, where carriers are increasingly turning to more efficient single-aisle jets to support capacity growth.
