Uzbekistan Airways chooses Jiatai seats for A321neo fleet

Uzbekistan Airways has selected Chinese seat maker Jiatai to equip its new Airbus A321neo fleet with passenger seats, including the JT220B Premium business-class seat fitted with an in-flight entertainment system. The carrier will become the launch customer for the seat, while the agreement covers more than 10 aircraft and Jiatai’s first cabin project in Central Asia.

Jiatai was chosen on 15 June 2026, with the first shipset due in March 2028. The A321neos are set to join the Uzbekistan Airways fleet from 2028 onward, forming part of a cabin modernisation programme built around comfort and functionality requirements for both business and economy class.

The JT220B Premium seat is electrically adjustable and includes ambient lighting, privacy dividers, headrest wings and a zero-gravity position. The order expands Jiatai’s presence beyond its home market and gives Uzbekistan Airways a premium narrowbody cabin product for its next-generation fleet.
