TUI will open a Düsseldorf–Curaçao service in summer 2027, moving directly into the same market Corendon is preparing to serve from December. The route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, giving Germany’s leisure market another nonstop Caribbean option from Düsseldorf.
The new service is aimed mainly at German travellers, although TUI also expects demand from the Netherlands because Düsseldorf is accessible for Dutch passengers. Tickets are due to go on sale in October. The route forms part of a wider summer 2027 network expansion that adds 25 new services, including several short- and medium-haul routes from Düsseldorf and Hannover.
Corendon plans to begin Düsseldorf–Curaçao flights on 14 December, with three weekly frequencies. TUI’s entry creates a direct head-to-head contest on a leisure long-haul market that has already shown strong demand, while also widening capacity on the Germany–Curaçao corridor.
