TUI Airways plans one-off Manchester–Nuuk charter for March 2027

TUI Airways is planning a one-time charter flight between Manchester and Nuuk, Greenland, in March 2027 using a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The operation is scheduled as a return charter rather than a regular service, with the outbound sector set for 22 March and the return from Nuuk on 26 March.

The itinerary points to a niche leisure or tour-focused operation rather than a broader network expansion, and it would be one of the few direct UK-to-Greenland charter links reported. Nuuk, Greenland’s capital, is a rare destination in TUI’s European programme, which is built around short- and mid-haul holiday traffic from UK bases.

The aircraft type aligns with TUI Airways’ existing narrowbody fleet strategy. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is used across the carrier’s short- and medium-haul network from UK airports, including Manchester, and remains a key type for charter flying where range and seat capacity suit lower-frequency seasonal demand.
