SyberJet unveils SJ36 mock-up and opens reservations

SyberJet Aircraft has unveiled a full-scale, non-flying mock-up of its SJ36 light business jet at Henderson Executive Airport near Las Vegas, opening reservations for the nine-seat aircraft. The event, held on 19 October alongside NBAA-BACE 2026, also introduced the updated seven-seat SJ34. SyberJet is targeting FAA certification and first SJ36 customer deliveries in 2032, with launch pricing of about $14 million for the first 250 customers.

Derived from the SJ30-2, the single-pilot SJ36 is designed to bridge the light- and midsize-jet segments. Company targets include a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles, a maximum speed of Mach 0.88, a ceiling of 49,000 feet and sea-level cabin pressure to 41,000 feet. The aircraft is planned to accommodate eight passengers and one pilot and use two Williams International FJ44-4A engines. The displayed aircraft was a static mock-up, so its performance and certification remain subject to development and testing.

The updated SJ34 is intended to replace the FAA-certified SJ30-2, with deliveries projected from 2029. Both aircraft are planned to use SyberVision, SyberJet’s proprietary avionics suite featuring six touchscreen displays, integrated flight-management functions, over-the-air updates and AI-assisted pilot tools.

SyberJet has launched the Passage One programme for the first 250 customers. In addition to preferential pricing of about $10 million to $12 million for the SJ34 and $14 million for the SJ36, the package includes maintenance, fuel and pilot-training benefits.
