STS Aviation Group’s material services division has been selected as a prime contractor on the U.S. Air Force’s KC-46 Commercial Common Repairable Support programme, a multi-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract vehicle for tanker component repair and exchange support. The agreement covers a five-year ordering period and has a ceiling of more than $470 million, with work focused on keeping KC-46 aircraft mission-ready from Jensen Beach, Florida.
The CASPER structure gives awardees the chance to compete for individual task orders rather than guaranteeing a fixed volume of work. STS will provide repair management, exchange support, documentation, quality compliance and coordination with repair partners across the KC-46 sustainment chain.
The KC-46 remains a key modern tanker platform for the Air Force, and component support contracts are central to sustaining fleet availability and parts flow. STS has not disclosed any award value for its portion of the programme, and no task orders have been identified yet under the new vehicle.
