Springer Reisen has begun direct Friday charter flights from Klagenfurt to Skiathos, with Avanti Air operating the service on a seasonal basis through late September. The route is part of the Kärnten tour operator’s summer Greece programme and is currently listed in Klagenfurt Airport’s live timetable, with the first departure shown for 21 August.
The schedule positions Skiathos as a late-summer leisure destination for travellers from Carinthia, complementing Springer Reisen’s existing Greece charter offering from Klagenfurt. Avanti Air’s turboprop service is operating under flight numbers ATV513 and ATV514, with the airport timetable showing a Dash 8-Q400 for the route. The connection is listed as weekly and runs every Friday until 25 September.
Klagenfurt Airport also groups Skiathos within its seasonal Springer Reisen and Avanti Air charter programme, underlining the role of regional airports in point-to-point Mediterranean traffic. The route comes alongside the tour operator’s parallel Greece programme, including other island services from the airport during the summer season.
