Safran lifts 2026 guidance after record first-half results

Safran posted record first-half 2026 results and lifted full-year guidance, with civil engine spare parts and aftermarket services again doing the heavy lifting. Adjusted revenue rose 19% to €17.571 billion, recurring operating income increased 29% to €3.237 billion, and free cash flow reached €2.616 billion, lifting the margin to 18.4%. The group said it delivered more than 500 LEAP engines for a fourth straight quarter, extending the ramp in narrowbody output. The performance leaves Safran tracking above prior assumptions for 2026, with operating leverage still concentrated in propulsion and civil services rather than airframe cycles.
