Qatar Airways has partnered with Uber for Business to extend its Beyond Business corporate travel programme into ground transport, allowing members to redeem Qrewards for Uber ride vouchers credited to their Uber wallet. The arrangement, described as the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, is designed to connect air travel with business-class mobility and give corporate customers a more complete trip-management toolset.
The integration gives travel managers centralised oversight of transport spending, expense tracking and policy compliance through Uber for Business, while Qatar Airways broadens the scope of its corporate offering beyond flights. Beyond Business members already receive benefits including Qrewards earning and redemption, Privilege Club tier offers, priority baggage and high-speed Wi-Fi on Starlink-enabled flights.
The partnership builds on Qatar Airways’ corporate travel strategy as it seeks to make Beyond Business more relevant across the full journey, not only in the air but also on the ground. Uber ride vouchers can be used for business travel in multiple markets, giving companies another way to manage employee mobility within existing travel programmes.
