Palm Beach airport adopts DJT IATA code after name change

Palm Beach County’s airport, now branded President Donald J. Trump International Airport, has switched its IATA code from PBI to DJT. The change, effective on 18 August, is reflected in airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms and baggage tags, while airport operations, routes, schedules, customer service and ownership remain unchanged.

The code update follows Florida legislation signed in March that renamed the airport and directed the county to secure the required approvals and branding changes. The airport’s FAA locational identifier changed to DJT and its ICAO code to KDJT on 9 July, ahead of the later IATA move. The airport’s website is also moving to flydjt.org. The official FAQ links the IATA change to notice from the association and says several airlines serving the airport requested the update. Travellers booking flights to Palm Beach should now use DJT when checking reservations or tracking baggage.
