New winter routes expand southwest Germany’s airport network

The 2026/27 winter timetable will bring new and resumed services to airports in southwest Germany and the EuroAirport Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, alongside several seasonal suspensions. Eurowings adds Cairo at Stuttgart and restores Amman and Jeddah, while Dubai returns in November with four weekly flights. The changes take effect mainly from late October, with Stuttgart’s winter schedule beginning on 25 October.

Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden gains Pristina with GP Aviation, while Ryanair adds Lamezia Terme, Marrakesh, Rabat and Tirana. Wizz Air introduces Brașov, Podgorica and Pristina, and Fly Vini restores a domestic service to Schönhagen/Trebbin near Berlin after seven years. Wizz Air suspends Suceava, Chișinău and Sarajevo for the winter, while Ryanair drops Amman.

At the EuroAirport, Wizz Air adds Poznań, Varna from 27 October and Yerevan from 18 December. Dubai, Timișoara and Sibiu are absent from the winter schedule. Memmingen regains Ryanair services to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Rome and Manchester; Catania and Tirana will be served by both Ryanair and Wizz Air. Summer routes including Dubrovnik, Heraklion, Chania, Riga and Zadar pause, while Amman remains suspended amid the Middle East conflict.

Friedrichshafen adds twice-weekly Alicante and Palma de Mallorca services, increases Hamburg to four weekly flights and maintains Berlin. Ryanair has separately scheduled summer 2027 routes from Friedrichshafen to Porto and Bari, both twice weekly.
