Marabu Airlines will station a third Airbus at Nürnberg Airport from June 2027 and add Lamezia Terme in southern Italy and Preveza on Greece’s western coast to its summer schedule. The Condor sister airline plans to operate Lamezia Terme twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, and Preveza once a week, on Saturdays, expanding its leisure network from the German airport.
Marabu will also increase capacity on existing Nürnberg routes. Palma de Mallorca is scheduled to operate twice daily from June, while flights to Olbia will run five times weekly. The seasonal Kavala service is due to resume on 7 June. Tickets for both new routes were already available for booking in late October 2026.
The additional aircraft forms part of Marabu’s wider growth plans for 2027. The airline is expected to expand its all-Airbus A320neo fleet to 14 aircraft, compared with 12 in 2026 and eight in 2025. The Nürnberg expansion will give the carrier greater local capacity while adding direct access to destinations in Calabria and western Greece.
