Nesma Airlines is sharply expanding its Hurghada services to Germany and Switzerland for summer 2027, adding Zurich and increasing frequencies on several existing routes. The programme will include four weekly flights each to Hannover and Cologne/Bonn, three to Nuremberg, two to Frankfurt, five to Düsseldorf, and two weekly services to Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, alongside two weekly flights to Zurich.
The changes lift capacity in the German-speaking market by more than 50%, with 160,000 seats planned to Germany and a further 30,000 to Switzerland. Zurich is the only new destination in the group, while the rest of the programme is based on frequency growth on established leisure routes from Hurghada. The summer schedule begins on 19 March 2027.
