The National Business Aviation Association has opened its 2026 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas amid leadership and team changes and a positive assessment of market conditions. The event, running from 20 to 22 October, brings the industry together at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport, where Textron Aviation is displaying the Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 alongside the Citation Ascend, Latitude and Longitude.
NBAA is presenting the organisational changes as part of its continuing evolution as the business-aviation sector gathers for its largest annual industry event. The opening outlook reflects confidence in current market conditions, although the specific indicators underpinning that assessment were not disclosed in the available material.
The convention is attracting approximately 17,000 participants and more than 700 exhibitors, with around 80 aircraft scheduled for the static display. Its agenda extends beyond aircraft showcases to workforce development, training, technology and operational issues, including maintenance labour shortages, cyberthreats and spectrum access.
Textron’s CJ3 Gen2 is making its first BACE appearance as a production aircraft, forming part of a Citation display spanning light, midsize and super-midsize categories. The event is also serving as a platform for new professional-development courses, connectivity initiatives and other announcements expected to shape business-aviation operations and investment priorities.
