Loganair will withdraw all operations from Dundee Airport on 23 October 2026, ending the Scottish airport’s last scheduled services and leaving it without any commercial airline flights. The move follows the closure of the carrier’s Dundee-London Heathrow public service obligation route, which has been the key link supporting the airport’s network.
The Heathrow service currently runs twice daily on weekdays and once on Sundays. The end date had initially been set for 28 September before being moved back to October. Alongside the Heathrow route, Loganair also serves Dundee from Kirkwall and Sumburgh, but all three services will now cease.
Dundee’s position as a commercial air gateway will now depend on whether another airline or service is introduced, although no replacement has been confirmed. The airport’s loss of scheduled operations comes after a review of the long-term viability of the Dundee-London route, underlining the commercial pressure on regional connectivity in the city.
