Linz Airport’s winter 2026/27 schedule is being cut again, with Ryanair ending the London-Stansted route and the Hurghada leisure programme also reduced. The changes remove 4,158 seats from the market, further shrinking the airport’s short-haul offering for the coming winter season.
The Egypt programme had originally been planned with three weekly flights, but one Wednesday rotation had already been removed before a further 22 services were cancelled. Between late November and March, only one weekly Hurghada flight remains in the plan, with extra departures around Christmas. The adjustments leave Linz with less winter capacity at a time when holiday traffic is central to its schedule.
Ryanair’s withdrawal from London-Stansted removes another important city link from the airport’s network in the autumn. The reduction also affects tour operators that had built winter packages around the route and the Egypt service, forcing a smaller programme for the season ahead.
