Ukrzaliznytsia is adding a stop for the Kyiv–Chișinău train at Revaca station, giving passengers travelling to Chișinău International Airport a rail-to-air transfer option with a free shuttle bus to the terminal. The change applies to train No. 351/352 and initially works in the Kyiv-to-Chișinău direction, allowing travellers to remain on board past central Chișinău before changing at Revaca for the airport transfer.
The operational tweak follows an April test run that showed demand for a stop close to the airport, prompting the rail operator to extend the service. The Moldovan side has prepared buses for the transfer, creating a direct surface link between the international rail corridor and the airport. Passengers heading into Moldova’s capital still need to use central Chișinău for the return journey, as the reverse direction does not yet include the airport stop.
The revised routing offers Ukraine-origin passengers a more convenient way to reach Chișinău Airport, which has become an important alternate departure point for international travel. By shifting airport-bound travellers from taxis or city transfers to a scheduled rail-and-shuttle connection, the service adds a practical intermodal option on one of the region’s key cross-border rail routes.
