Klatt Works adds Gulfstream Aerospace as approved SAVED supplier

Klatt Works has added Gulfstream Aerospace as an approved SAVED supplier, widening access to its oxygen-mask head-up display system for business aviation operators. The arrangement links the cockpit safety product more closely with Gulfstream aircraft support and provisioning, with the system designed to help pilots retain access to flight data and enhanced-vision video during smoke emergencies.

The SAVED unit, developed for use in smoke-filled cockpits, combines the oxygen mask with a head-up display so crews can keep critical information in view when visibility is compromised. Klatt Works had already secured other installation and distribution relationships around the programme, and the latest approval extends that network to Gulfstream, a key OEM in the business jet market.

The move is relevant for operators seeking certified emergency-cockpit equipment that can be integrated into existing aircraft support channels. It also follows earlier progress for the SAVED system on Gulfstream aircraft, including approval work tied to the G550, as Klatt Works continues to broaden the product’s availability across the fleet.
