K2 Aviation has acquired two Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighters from Aircastle, marking its first purchase from the lessor and a strategic entry into the dedicated freighter sector. The Dublin-based leasing firm will deploy these narrowbody conversions under lease to ASL Airlines, with operations managed by ASL Airlines Belgium and ASL Airlines France, directly targeting air cargo demand driven by global e-commerce logistics.
