JetSMART resumes Aeroparque–Posadas route with daily flights

JetSMART resumed direct flights between Buenos Aires Aeroparque and Posadas on 3 November, restoring a route suspended in September 2023. The airline plans to operate seven flights a week with Airbus A320s, more than twice the three weekly frequencies it offered before the suspension. The first flight, registered LV-KDP, landed at Posadas’ Libertador General José de San Martín International Airport at about 17:41.

The route began in August 2021. Its return follows a June 2026 agreement with the Government of Misiones and forms part of JetSMART’s wider expansion from Aeroparque. Posadas is the second destination in the package to resume, after Jujuy. San Juan and Santiago del Estero are scheduled to follow on 19 November and 10 December, respectively, with five weekly flights each.

The restored service provides a direct connection between the provincial capital and Buenos Aires for tourism, business and other travel. Early bookings were reported to have occupancy above 85%, reaching 90% on some flights. The airline’s Argentina country manager linked the return to market conditions and additional aircraft availability, and indicated that larger aircraft could be considered if demand warrants. Reported fares start at ARS 43,900, including taxes, and may vary.
