JetBlue to open second BlueHouse lounge in Boston as Mint access widens

JetBlue will open its second BlueHouse lounge at Boston Logan International Airport Terminal C on 27 August at 05:00, extending lounge access for eligible Mint and Mint Flex travellers from the same day. The Boston site follows the first BlueHouse location in New York and adds a premium ground product at one of JetBlue’s largest focus cities.

The carrier is pairing the lounge opening with changes to its premium-cabin strategy. Access will expand to departing domestic and international Mint customers, along with Mosaic 4 members and JetBlue Premier cardmembers, while guest and paid-entry rules will vary by tier and fare. JetBlue is also preparing a Mint Base fare in the coming weeks, positioned below standard Mint and excluding BlueHouse access and complimentary advance seat selection.

The move broadens the value proposition for the airline’s premium customers while keeping BlueHouse access limited to higher-tier loyalty members, cardholders and eligible Mint fares. No operational data is available yet on the Boston lounge, which has not opened, and no customer or traffic impact has been disclosed.
