JetBlue will open its second BlueHouse lounge at Boston Logan International Airport’s Terminal C on 27 August, while extending complimentary lounge access to all departing Mint and Mint Flex customers in Boston and New York. The carrier will also roll out a lower-priced Mint Base fare in the coming weeks, stripping out BlueHouse access, complimentary advance seat selection and free changes or cancellations.
The new Boston lounge broadens JetBlue’s premium ground offering as it sharpens product segmentation in Mint. Eligible customers will be able to enter up to three hours before departure with a same-day boarding pass. Mosaic 4 members and JetBlue Premier Cardmembers keep complimentary access, with guest policies unchanged, while other qualifying status and cardholders can still buy one-time entry subject to availability.
Mint Base is designed as a cheaper entry point into JetBlue’s lie-flat business-class cabin, but the trade-off is a reduced bundle of perks. Customers choosing standard Mint or Mint Flex retain lounge access, advance seat selection and flexible ticket rules, giving JetBlue a clearer separation between its lowest-priced premium fare and fuller-service options.
