IATA Partners with OneVasco to Streamline Visa Applications

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and visa-services provider OneVasco are integrating OneVasco’s visa concierge service into IATA’s Timatic Solutions, linking travel-document checks with visa applications in a single digital journey. The partnership, announced in Geneva, will allow travellers to move from reviewing entry requirements to beginning an application without switching between separate services.

OneVasco’s service will be offered to airlines as a supplementary option within Timatic Web and Timatic Widget, while Timatic travel information will also be incorporated into OneVasco’s visa platform. Timatic provides international travel-document and entry-requirement information used across the air transport industry.

The offering covers both e-visas and sticker visas. Its functions include eligibility checks, document verification, application assistance, secure payments and application-status tracking. The integration is intended to help airlines and travel-facing platforms combine entry-requirement information with visa-application support, potentially reducing friction and documentation errors during pre-travel preparation.

The partnership announcement did not specify a rollout date, participating airlines, countries covered or commercial terms. It also did not indicate that either IATA or OneVasco will decide visa applications; the described services concern information, assistance, payment and status tracking.
