Hunnu Air operates Ulaanbaatar–Guangzhou flights with E195-E2

Hunnu Air began nonstop flights between Ulaanbaatar and Guangzhou in mid-October, using Embraer E195-E2 aircraft on the route. The service, which links Mongolia’s capital with southern China, was scheduled to start on 15 October and operates four days a week. Flight numbers are MR865 from Ulaanbaatar and MR866 on the return leg; the available timetable information does not establish whether the flights are charter or scheduled operations.

The route expands Hunnu Air’s network in China, where the carrier also serves Beijing Daxing and Sanya. Guangzhou provides a direct air link to a major city in southern China, in addition to the airline’s existing connections in the north and on Hainan.

When the service was introduced earlier in 2026, it was described as a charter operation that could move to scheduled flights depending on market performance. The autumn timetable confirms that the route was operating, but does not clarify whether its status has changed. The reported schedule lists the Ulaanbaatar–Guangzhou flight as MR865 and the return as MR866, with the Embraer E195-E2 assigned to both sectors.
