Condor has begun daily flights from Frankfurt to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi, adding a connecting option alongside its existing nonstop service to the Thai capital. The route, inaugurated on 4 November, operates in codeshare with Etihad Airways. Passengers can book the full journey on one ticket and check baggage through to Bangkok, while the Abu Dhabi stop provides connections to Etihad’s network across Asia, Africa and Australia.
The new service raises Condor’s Frankfurt–Bangkok offering to two daily options during the winter season. The airline also operates daily between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi, linking its German hub with Etihad’s connecting operation in the Gulf.
The inaugural aircraft received a ceremony in Frankfurt, with a welcome planned in Abu Dhabi. Condor chief executive Peter Gerber described the route as an additional winter travel option to Thailand. The airline identifies the Airbus A330neo as its long-haul aircraft, but has not specified the aircraft type assigned to this service.
