Honeywell Technologies raises 2026 outlook after strong third quarter

Honeywell Technologies has raised its full-year 2026 outlook after reporting stronger-than-expected third-quarter performance, lifting its sales forecast to USD 20.0-20.1 billion and adjusted earnings per share guidance to USD 8.40-8.45. The automation-focused company recorded approximately USD 4.99 billion in third-quarter revenue, 7% organic sales growth and adjusted EPS of USD 2.27.

Organic sales growth for the year is now expected at 4-5%, compared with the previous 3-4% range. Honeywell Technologies also forecasts free cash flow of approximately USD 2.1 billion and a segment margin of about 20.5%, the upper end of its earlier guidance.

The quarter was the first full reporting period for Honeywell Technologies as a standalone business following the June spin-off of Honeywell Aerospace. Its operations now focus on industrial, building and process automation rather than aerospace systems and equipment.

Chief executive Vimal Kapur attributed the revised outlook to broad strength across the portfolio and said the performance had increased confidence in the company’s long-term strategy and 2029 targets. Third-quarter results included a 23% increase in segment profit and a 79% rise in operating income, supported by productivity measures, pricing and volume growth.
