Fly2Galicia plans Airbus A320 launch from Santiago with Munich among initial routes

Fly2Galicia will begin operations from Santiago de Compostela next year with an Airbus A320 based at Lavacolla, setting Munich among eight launch destinations. Ticket sales are due to open on 18 August, with the first flights planned for 1 December and an initial network built around 17 weekly departures across Spain and Europe.

The new Galicia-linked brand is targeting direct links to Alicante, Zaragoza, Granada, Brussels, Munich, Milan-Malpensa, Prague and Venice. The model relies on a wet-lease arrangement through an unnamed European ACMI operator, while the airline still does not have its own AOC.

Fly2Galicia’s route map also replaces earlier indications that the startup would use a Boeing 737-800. Promotional fares start at €19 on domestic routes, while international introductory prices range from €39 to €49 depending on the destination.
