Finavia has selected Kittilä Airport as its Airport of the Year 2025, recognising the northern Finnish gateway for combining financial development, business growth, rising passenger volumes and strong operational performance. The annual award is chosen from among Finavia’s 20 airports and highlights work by the airport’s staff and partners to develop the site in line with traffic growth.
The award underlines Kittilä’s role in Finnish regional aviation, where airport performance is increasingly measured not only by throughput but also by efficiency and service quality.
