FAI rent-a-jet has expanded its charter fleet with another Bombardier Global 6000, its second such addition this year. The aircraft, registered D-AFAN and bearing manufacturer serial number 9471, is based at the company’s Nuremberg headquarters and is available immediately for worldwide corporate charter missions after joining the fleet about five weeks after a letter of intent was signed.
The latest acquisition lifts FAI’s Bombardier Global-series fleet to seven aircraft and takes its all-Bombardier business jet fleet to 18. The jet has logged about 900 flight hours and carries a three-zone cabin for up to 14 passengers, together with Gogo Galileo high-speed inflight connectivity.
FAI is using the aircraft to meet rising demand for long-range charter capacity, particularly from international customers needing intercontinental operations. The Global 6000’s mission profile includes city pairs such as London-Dubai, Frankfurt-Singapore and Geneva-New York, placing it among the carrier’s key ultra-long-haul options.
