Eurowings is continuing with plans to introduce its Premium BIZ Seat on Airbus A320neo aircraft, but the airline has not confirmed that the upgraded product will be installed across the entire fleet. The uncertainty affects customers planning higher-comfort travel on selected European and Middle Eastern routes, where aircraft assignment may determine whether the product is available.
Eurowings plans to offer the Premium BIZ Seat from 1 December 2026 on all flights to Dubai and on selected services to London Heathrow, Mallorca and Málaga. Lufthansa Group has identified the Dubai operation and selected London connections as key parts of the initial network rollout.
The concept is designed for the first two rows of the A320neo, replacing the standard 2-3 arrangement with a 2-2 layout. The proposed configuration reduces the number of seats in those rows from 18 to eight, creating additional personal space and offering wider seats, more legroom, greater recline and adjustable leg rests.
However, the final number of aircraft receiving the product, the precise installation schedule and the full seat configuration have not been confirmed. The Premium BIZ Seat may be sold as an additional service or included in the BIZclass fare, depending on the route. Passengers and corporate customers therefore cannot yet assume that every Eurowings A320neo will provide the upgraded seating.
