EgyptAir has signed a three-season sponsorship agreement with FC Barcelona, becoming the club’s Global Partner and Exclusive Official Airline for the men’s first football team, basketball team and handball team. The deal runs through the 2028/29 season and includes EgyptAir branding on the front of FC Barcelona’s handball jerseys during official matches.
The partnership gives EgyptAir exposure across one of the world’s most followed football clubs and expands its international brand presence through FC Barcelona’s global sports platform. The agreement is structured as a commercial and visibility partnership, linking the airline with multiple elite teams under the Barcelona organisation.
No financial terms were disclosed. The arrangement was confirmed on the same day by both sides through their public communications, with the airline and club presenting the sponsorship as part of their respective global partnership portfolios.
