Corendon plans to split its tour operator, Corendon Dutch Airlines and hotel business into three independently operating divisions by 1 April 2027. Chief executive Gunay Uslu will step back from day-to-day management to become a group adviser, coordinating across the divisions. The group is seeking separate chief executives for the tour operator and airline as it gives each business greater scope to pursue its own commercial strategy while continuing to cooperate.
Uslu linked the restructuring to changing market conditions and the different commercial models of tour operators and airlines. The new structure is intended to let the businesses pursue opportunities independently rather than operate under a single integrated management model. The hotel activity will also become a separate division; Corendon operates 19 hotels.
Uslu has described the change as a response to the businesses’ differing needs, not preparation for a sale. Details of the legal or operational arrangements for the separation have not been disclosed, and 1 April 2027 remains the target completion date.
