Corendon cuts Birmingham, Newcastle and Gatwick from summer 2027 UK schedule

Corendon Airlines will drop Birmingham, Newcastle and London Gatwick from its UK summer 2027 programme, while keeping Antalya services from Glasgow, Manchester and London Stansted. The leisure carrier is trimming capacity after a difficult trading year, with geopolitical uncertainty, high fuel costs and shifting demand weighing on its planning for next summer.

The network change narrows Corendon’s UK footprint from six airports to three for the season. Glasgow will retain two weekly Antalya flights, while Manchester and Stansted will each keep three weekly services. UK country manager Matthew Carpenter described the move as a short-term reaction and indicated that conditions will be reviewed again in January.

The reduction affects a key leisure link between the UK and Antalya and could influence seat availability across the market for summer 2027. Birmingham, Newcastle and Gatwick are removed from the schedule for now, although Corendon has left open the option of returning if trading conditions improve.
