Condor has pushed back the planned resumption of its Frankfurt–Tbilisi service to 2 May 2027, delaying the return of the route by nearly a year. The seasonal operation is set to use German Airways Embraer E190 aircraft, with four weekly flights at launch before frequencies rise to five a week from 14 May and seven a week from 25 May 2027.
The route last operated until October 2023 and had previously been expected to resume on 15 June 2026. The revised timing points to a later build-up of Condor’s Eastern Europe network ahead of the 2027 summer season, with Frankfurt maintaining its role as the German carrier’s main long-haul and European connecting base.
Flight numbers DE4152 and DE4153 are planned for the service, with evening departures from Frankfurt and overnight returns from Tbilisi. Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, remains a niche destination in Condor’s schedule, with demand typically tied to leisure travel and visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic.
