Condor plans two lounges at Frankfurt Terminal 3

Condor plans to open two lounges at Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 3, one in the Schengen area and one in the non-Schengen area. The airline is discussing the proposal with partners, and the facilities are not expected to be ready when Condor moves from Terminal 1 in April 2027. CEO Peter Gerber indicated they would more likely open toward the end of that year; plans remain under discussion.

The lounge proposal is part of Condor’s effort to attract more premium passengers as it develops beyond its traditional leisure-airline role. The carrier operates Airbus A330-900s on long-haul routes and has been building city connections to feed those services from Frankfurt.

Condor has not confirmed the lounges’ size, capacity, facilities or operating arrangements, nor set completion dates. Its current lounge access at Frankfurt is through facilities in Terminal 1. The airline is also reconsidering its loyalty-program options, but no decision on that offering has been finalised.
