Bombardier has raised its 2026 free cash flow forecast to more than US$1.3 billion, the second increase this year, after reporting higher cash generation in the third quarter. The Montréal-based business-jet manufacturer recorded US$2.37 billion in revenue, up 3% year on year, and delivered 33 aircraft. Services revenue reached a quarterly record of US$701 million, up 19%. Its other full-year guidance remains unchanged.
Free cash flow for the quarter ended 30 September was US$183 million, a 20% increase from a year earlier. Bombardier’s first-nine-month total was US$771 million. The company attributed the higher full-year forecast to its year-to-date performance and confidence in its outlook; free cash flow is a company-defined, non-GAAP measure.
Adjusted EBITDA rose 7% to US$382 million, with a 16.1% margin. Net income was US$81 million, while adjusted net income reached US$182 million. The backlog stood at US$22.2 billion at quarter-end, and the quarterly unit book-to-bill ratio was 1.7.
Bombardier continues to target more than 157 aircraft deliveries, revenue above US$10 billion and adjusted EBITDA above US$1.625 billion for 2026. CEO Éric Martel cited strong demand, a healthy backlog and visibility on remaining deliveries. Services growth was attributed to the expanding network and focus on customer experience.
