Bombardier has delivered the 200th Challenger 3500 business jet to Piero Ferrari, vice chairman of Ferrari. The handover marks a delivery milestone for the super-midsize type as it continues to build momentum in its category.
The Challenger 3500 reached the 200-delivery mark less than four years after entering service in 2022. It has also been the most delivered business jet in the medium and heavy categories since its first full year of deliveries in 2023, according to the company’s latest figures.
The aircraft’s link to Ferrari adds a high-profile customer to Bombardier’s portfolio, with the jet associated with travel to Formula 1 races and other business engagements. Bombardier framed the delivery around shared themes of mobility, design and craftsmanship.
