Boeing Business Jet First To Receive Airmont Live TV Through DPI Labs

A Boeing Business Jet has become the first aircraft to receive Airmont live-TV capability through DPI Labs, with the service running as software on DPI Labs’ existing cabin server. The architecture removes the need for a separate gateway box, potentially simplifying installation of live television in VIP and business-aviation cabins.

The integration combines Airmont’s aircraft television-streaming technology with DPI Labs’ cabin-server platform. Rather than adding dedicated gateway hardware, the system uses existing onboard computing resources to deliver live-TV functionality.

The software-based approach could reduce equipment requirements for business-jet completion and retrofit projects, where cabin space, weight, power consumption and maintenance access are key considerations. It may also simplify integration with existing cabin-management and in-flight entertainment systems.

The aircraft model, operator, installation location, service coverage and commercial terms were not disclosed. The development is described as the first Boeing Business Jet installation of Airmont live TV via DPI Labs’ platform.
