The Berlin Senate has confirmed that the ILA will continue in 2028 and 2030, securing the future of the Berlin-Brandenburg air show through the end of the decade. The next edition is scheduled for 17–21 May 2028 at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport in Schönefeld/Selchow, with public backing in place for the event’s continuation and funding support.
The framework arrangement, agreed in 2024 for the 2026–2030 period, involves Berlin, Brandenburg, Messe Berlin, Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH and the BDLI. It provides planning certainty for organisers and stakeholders while keeping the show anchored in the capital region.
The funding model covers any deficit of up to €6.5 million per edition, split equally between Berlin and Brandenburg. Berlin officials also pointed to existing bookings for ILA 2028, underscoring early commercial interest in the next show.
