Azul Logística, the cargo division of Brazilian airline Azul, received its fourth dedicated Airbus A321 freighter on 19 October. Registered PS-AJH, the aircraft arrived at Belo Horizonte–Confins International Airport with capacity for about 25 tonnes of cargo per flight. It joins two A321 freighters already in regular service as Azul expands its dedicated fleet across Brazil and South America.
A third aircraft, delivered in September, is scheduled to enter service at the end of October. Azul Logística plans to operate six dedicated freighters by the first quarter of 2027, increasing capacity on domestic routes and services to other South American markets while supporting additional commercial opportunities.
The freighters complement cargo carried in the lower decks of more than 180 Azul passenger aircraft. The logistics division serves about 5,100 municipalities and has a presence in 47 countries, including regular services to Argentina, Chile and Peru.
PS-AJH was previously operated by Air France as a passenger aircraft and was converted to freighter configuration in Tianjin, China, according to Brazilian reporting.
