Azul Conecta launches seasonal flights to Angra dos Reis

Azul Conecta has opened ticket sales for seasonal flights to Angra dos Reis in Rio de Janeiro state for the 2026–27 summer season. The regional subsidiary of Azul will operate the services with nine-seat Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft from São Paulo-Campo de Marte, Rio de Janeiro-Jacarepaguá and Belo Horizonte-Confins, targeting leisure demand around New Year’s Eve and Carnival 2027.

Flights linking Campo de Marte, Angra dos Reis and Jacarepaguá are scheduled to operate daily from 27 December to 3 January. The services are due to resume from 6 to 10 February during the Carnival period, with operations on selected weekdays.

The Confins–Angra dos Reis route will be a new direct connection, scheduled to operate during Carnival on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The flights will provide access to the coastal tourism destination from Belo Horizonte as well as from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

The programme will also introduce Azul’s first scheduled commercial passenger services from Campo de Marte, an airport in northern São Paulo traditionally associated with helicopter and general-aviation operations. The schedule is seasonal and does not establish a permanent commercial route at Angra dos Reis.
