Azul will add 400 flights at seven airports in southern Brazil during the 2026/27 summer peak, providing more than 57,400 additional seats between 5 December 2026 and 14 February 2027. The seasonal expansion will strengthen links from Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul to destinations including Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, Maceió, Natal, Recife, Salvador and Campinas.
The additional services will operate at Curitiba, Foz do Iguaçu, Londrina and Maringá in Paraná; Florianópolis and Navegantes in Santa Catarina; and Porto Alegre in Rio Grande do Sul. The programme is intended to accommodate stronger demand during Brazil’s summer holiday period and improve connections between the South and other regions, particularly the Northeast.
Porto Alegre–Foz do Iguaçu will receive 62 flights during the period, counting both directions. Azul also plans 44 flights between Foz do Iguaçu and Recife and 40 between Curitiba and Maceió, with each figure including arrivals and departures.
Across Brazil, Azul’s summer programme includes approximately 2,500 additional flights and 370,000 extra seats. About 90% of the added capacity is directed towards the Northeast.
