Avelo expands Dallas-McKinney network to nine destinations

Avelo Airlines has added four nonstop routes from McKinney National Airport in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, lifting its planned DTX network to nine destinations and positioning a third aircraft at the Texas base. Denver and Atlanta will start on 16 December, followed by New Orleans and Nashville on 17 December, with introductory fares from $99 and service timed to the airport’s commercial launch on 11 November.

The new routes extend Avelo’s initial McKinney schedule, which already included Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando and Tampa. Denver is a new destination for the carrier, broadening its network beyond its existing markets.

The airline will operate four weekly flights each to Denver and Atlanta, and twice-weekly service to New Orleans and Nashville. The added capacity comes before McKinney National Airport’s first commercial passenger flights and underlines the carrier’s early commitment to the new North Texas base.
