Turkish Aerospace Industries has released imagery showing its ANKA III stealth uncrewed combat air vehicle flying with two SÜPER ŞİMŞEK UAVs under its wings. The configuration places the aircraft at the centre of Türkiye’s push toward autonomous wingmen and manned-unmanned teaming, with the pairing intended to support strike, decoy and swarm-style missions in contested airspace.
The image release surfaced the aircraft in flight rather than in a static display, giving the concept greater operational credibility. ANKA III had previously launched a SÜPER ŞİMŞEK during a test in 2025, but the latest appearance shows the platform carrying two of the vehicles at once. That arrangement points to a broader role for the stealth UCAV as a deployer and coordinator of autonomous effectors rather than a simple carrier platform.
The disclosed material does not identify a test location or provide mission parameters, performance data or flight profile details. One Turkish report noted that the combination had already been displayed at SAHA Expo 2026 before the airborne imagery appeared, underscoring how quickly the concept has moved from exhibition to flight testing.
