Brazil’s ANAC published the Proposed Noise Certification Criteria for the Eve 100 eVTOL on 19 July 2026, opening public consultation until 8 August 2026. This draft framework establishes dedicated acoustic standards for eVTOL operations, addressing flight-phase noise evaluation absent from conventional aircraft regulations. The criteria adapt existing aviation noise rules to the Eve 100’s unique operational and acoustic profile, forming a prerequisite for type certification. Without finalized noise limits, ANAC cannot advance the aircraft toward TC, which Eve targets for ANAC, FAA, and EASA in 2027. Stakeholders must submit feedback before the consultation closes; ANAC will then review contributions and finalize requirements. The proposal remains non-binding pending regulatory approval post-consultation.
