Airbus has unveiled the first A350F in a cargo-themed livery created through a public design competition, presenting the aircraft after it was officially unpacked from the paint shop in Toulouse. The design, built from two winning concepts selected from about 4,000 entries, covers roughly 1,000 square metres and highlights the freighter’s cargo capability and modern styling.
The reveal gives Airbus a visible promotional lead-in for the A350F as it builds the programme’s profile in the air cargo market. The company credited the competition winners as well as its internal branding, engineering and paint-shop teams for bringing the scheme to the aircraft.
The public competition formed part of Airbus’ broader effort to engage designers, enthusiasts and potential customers around the freighter. The final result turns the A350F into a flying showcase for the programme, with the artwork intended to underline both the aircraft’s purpose and Airbus’ wider branding strategy in the cargo segment.
