Air Uniqon will launch nonstop flights between Hamburg and Saarbrücken on 18 January 2027, with Avanti Air operating the service. Flights are initially scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, with a third weekly frequency on Fridays from 22 January. The route will be flown as part of a Friedrichshafen–Saarbrücken–Hamburg service, allowing passengers to travel nonstop between Hamburg and Saarbrücken while Friedrichshafen passengers on the same routing stop in Saarbrücken.
The aircraft is identified as an Avanti Air DHC-8-400 configured with 78 seats. The new service will supplement two weekly nonstop Hamburg–Friedrichshafen flights, bringing the reported total between those cities to five weekly flights in each direction when the Saarbrücken routing is included.
Bookings were not yet available at the time of reporting; Air Uniqon is expected to offer them through its website. The service will provide a direct air link between Hamburg Airport and Saarbrücken Airport, while also giving passengers travelling between Hamburg and Friedrichshafen an additional routing with a stop in Saarbrücken.
