Air Uniqon expands Friedrichshafen network with Sylt extension

Air Uniqon is expanding its route network from Friedrichshafen with four-weekly services to Berlin and Hamburg, while extending the Berlin operation to Sylt during the summer season. The virtual airline operates both core routes on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The network adjustment follows the withdrawal of the Friedrichshafen–Düsseldorf service after about six months.

The winter schedule increases Friedrichshafen–Hamburg frequency from three to four weekly flights, adding capacity between the Bodensee region and northern Germany. The Berlin service remains in place on the same four-day pattern, according to the airline’s published schedule.

The Sylt operation forms part of a triangular service linking Friedrichshafen, Berlin and the North Sea island. It operated during the summer season, providing a seasonal extension of the Berlin route rather than a separate year-round service.

Air Uniqon launched its Friedrichshafen network with links to Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Berlin. Düsseldorf was subsequently suspended after weaker demand and higher operating costs made the route commercially unsustainable. Hamburg, by contrast, developed more strongly than expected and has received additional winter capacity. The published winter schedule covers operations through 28 February 2027, subject to change.
